Each tracing is personally reviewed by Consultant Cardiologist Dr Salam Salloum. The report may include:

- Ambulatory cardiac-monitor reports are not included in this service.
- An ECG report does not replace a consultation, physical examination or additional testing when these are clinically required.

What types of ECG can be submitted?
A diagnostic 12-lead ECG is preferred because it provides the most complete information. Clear 6-lead, 3-lead, single-lead and wearable-device recordings, including Kardia or Apple Watch ECGs, can also be reviewed. The report will explain any limitations caused by the recording type or image quality.
How do I submit the ECG?
Upload a clear image or PDF during the booking process. Where possible, include the complete tracing with lead labels and calibration visible. Please also provide relevant clinical context, such as age, symptoms, medication and known cardiac history.
Can I submit more than one ECG?
Yes. A previous ECG can be helpful for comparison and identifying interval change. Unless otherwise agreed, the detailed report will focus primarily on the most recent tracing.
How long does it take to receive the ECG report?
Reports are typically provided within 24 hours, and many are completed within 12 hours. Please ensure that the tracing and clinical information are clear and complete when submitted.
Are ambulatory cardiac-monitor results included?
No. This service is for interpretation of ECG tracings and does not include full ambulatory cardiac-monitor reports. For prolonged rhythm monitoring, see the nationwide cardiac monitoring service or book a cardiology consultation to discuss existing results.
Can I use private medical insurance?
Coverage varies between insurers and policies. Please check whether private ECG interpretation is covered and obtain any required referral or authorisation before booking.
What should I do if my symptoms become urgent?

What if I have questions about the report?
You can contact the clinic by email, telephone or WhatsApp if you need clarification about the written report. If your question requires further clinical assessment or discussion of symptoms and treatment, a cardiology consultation may be recommended.
Will I receive a written ECG report?
Yes. You will receive a structured report on headed paper summarising the ECG findings, clinical interpretation and recommended next steps where appropriate. It can be sent by email or WhatsApp according to your preference.
What if further tests are recommended?
The report will explain any further assessment or investigation that may be appropriate, such as a consultation, ambulatory heart-rhythm monitoring or echocardiography. Additional tests and consultations are separate from the ECG reporting service.
